Reply with quote | #1 | Hello. I know that this idea is probably too ambitious but I thought I'd just throw it out there anyway.
I was thinking that maybe you guys could do some kind of cross country live riffing tour. I'm not asking for anything huge. Maybe like 10 different cities spread throughout the year. If you spread the locations out enough you could cover every region of the country.
It just seems like everyone complains when something like this doesn't come to their area. If you did some kind of live riffing tour I think that'd make a lot of people very happy.
Of course, I realize that this would probably cut into the time you guys use to make new episodes. But I do think that something like this would be very cool. What do you think, sirs? |

Reply with quote | #2 | As long as on of those locations is like PA, NY, NJ, or somewhere in that area, then i like this idea a lot! __________________ Pro wrestling and Riffing: Made for each other.

Reply with quote | #3 | Yeah, the guys definitely would need to get out some more dvds before this could or should become a reality, but I'm all for it. I attended one of the MST Alive! Events and to see this show do something similar would bring a very nerdy tear to my eye. I'd seriously consider attending if it was in my state. |

Reply with quote | #4 | A live tour would rock hard! I agree it would probably take quite a few episode releases and development of a higher fan base before the tour would be profitable. I'm so there though if it happened! __________________ CORE

Reply with quote | #5 | I would be totally up for that too. =o
I wanted to see Rifftrax live and Cinematic Titanic live, but unfortunately they were to far. It'd be nice to get some riffing experiences for us east coast folks and quasi-new englanders. __________________ No pain, no problem.

I wasn't aware either of them did live riffings. |

Yeah, they do. Although, at this time, Rifftrax only does live riffings at the San Francisco sketch fest that comes around once a year.
Cinematic Titanic has a live riffing in Dallas, TX later this month and another in October in Minneapolis, MN.
Check out this thread for the Minneapolis riffing: http://forum.rifftrax.com/index.php/topic,7559.0.html

Reply with quote | #9 | Interesting, but from what I've read over at the CT forum, they may get booed off the stage--which is pretty sad. Fans need to lighten up.
Besides, I think the ICWXP is funnier than CT. __________________ Invisible Chicken beat me AGAIN!!!! ... and BRAAAAAIINS! |
